Stretch Armstrong @ Q Bar

Internationally renowned deejay / producer / overall music impresario Stretch Armstrong has enjoyed a nearly two-decade career that has remained as diverse, eclectic and inspired as his home town, New York City. As one of the most influential figures in the mid 90's hip hop boom, Stretch was instrumental in breaking the careers of legends and superstars such as Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang Clan, Big Pun and many, many, more.

His radio show with partner Bobbito, was dubbed the best ever show in hip hop by The Source Magazine with bootlegged recordings of the program finding their way around the globe (before there was even a proper internet). His contributions to music have since continued with his ground breaking work creating some of the very first proper mash-up records as well as his recent return to dance music through his partnership with electro superstar Steve Aoki. Don't miss this truly rare opportunity to witness a real hip hop DJ in action!
