ArtGorillas ArtGallery is pleased to announce " Tales from the SIX", a group exhibition by 6 local comic artist; Suttichart Sarapaivanich (SS), Songwit Seakittikul (Seng), Vachira Petchmaneenilsai (nonworld), Songsin Tiewsomboon (Up),Tripuck Supawattana (Puck), and Veerachai Duangpla (The Duang).
For this show the, the artists behind 4B-FourBIZARRE, the gallery's first comic art show from last year, return with 2 emerging comic artists to display newly created art piece in various media & stories.
Puck to portray the human 's never ending greed through his signature highly detailed sarcasm illustrations. Duang comes with idea of surviving in this competitive society. SS brings 10 pieces of JOE the SEA_CRET Agent, his well known character to celebrate 10 years of making it to life. Seng unveils emotional paintings that evolve through seasons. Nonworld will take the viewers through the journey back in time when we were young and reckless. Lastly, through songs & paintings, Up together with Bobby Swingers will showcase the story after death.

In the Jungle Scene .....Dj Kingkong (aka. Kritsada Vadeesirisak) 2000-2003 - Member of ?Pluem?, Thai rock band, as vocal and guitarist and Producer. Pluem has released 4 albums and has had many concert in many path of Thailand. 2003-2004 - Dj Kingkong graduated bachelor degree from Chandrakasem Institute (Musicology) , Faculty of Fine art. - Started their career in the popular music industry producing artists such as Pluem, Boost and also composed songs for many artists such as Nink, Sornram, Ztudiotomo etc. 2004-2005 - Entered the club music world by producing chilled-out music album is called ?Shedd : Ocean Traveller? and it was sold in The Fat Festival 3rd. - One of songs from Shedd album was picked in the electronic music compilation album called ?Azion? - Started DJing at Flix, Route66(north),Astra,Club Culture,Cafe Democ, Syn Bar,Spin, Polly bar,Paradise(Koh phangan-Full moon party), Whitening bar(Koh Tao),Dragon Bar (Koh Tao) etc. 2006 - *** 1st Winner of Heineken DJ Spin 2006. Start tour plan ?Heineken Road show?for this year. - join 60th Bangkok djs world records. In the last couple of years, he has performed with the likes of Prince and Pharell Williams. He's commonly referred to as the worlds greatest beatboxer - and he hails from, erm... Sussex!!! You've probably seen him on one of countless youtube clips already & been incredibly impressed... wait until you seem him performing live, he will blow your mind (check the video clip below!!!).
we will be setting up the white room especially for this night to accommodate a 3 man live show - joining Kela will be FRANZ FERDINAND'S tour drummer... ANDY KNOWLES, plus London's multi award winning DJ SKELETRIK.
They will be performing a 1 hour show, kicking off at exactly 11.30 - so get down early - you do not want to miss a minute!!!
ACT II
TOTAL SCIENCE w/ MC RIYA
Making their Bangkok debut will be Drum & Bass legends, TOTAL SCIENCE alongside MC RIYA. TS are comprised of Q Project & Spinback... you will no doubt be familiar with Q Project's classic slice of UK underground bizness, CHAMPION SOUND (have a listen below innit!). They have recoded for pretty much every big D&B label out there... Goldie's Metalheadz, Fabio's Creative Source, V Recordings, Renegade Hardware etc etc... TS will be taking to the stage with female MC, Riya, for a D&B session that will both satisfy the purists as well as take in new fans.
IN THE BAR ROOM -
REHAB's resident DJ's, BEE and OUM will be taking you on a journey through the dirty underbelly of the UK's electronic music scene. Expect to hear pioneering tracks from the likes of NEW ORDER and S EXPRESS as well as classics from THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS and THE PRODIGY right up to current killers from the likes of SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO and EROL ALKAN.
ON TOP OF THIS - we will have some more surprises which we will be able to reveal very shortly... watch this space!
