100 Tonson Gallery proudly presents the last exhibition of this year 2010 “Hybrid Technology” by Porntaweesak Rimsakul, who creates art for fun. He was distant since the last solo show ‘Porntaweesak’s exhibition’ in 2006 that leaded him to participate in several international exhibition such as, ATTITUDE 2007, The Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, Japan and the only Thai Artist who shown in 10th International Istanbul Biennial, Turkey in 2007. The audiences are looking forward to see his next show.
Porntaweesak Rimsakul creates contemporary objects, focusing on interaction between art and audiences, and this project is under concept of daily life energy. Especially, electric energy which people use them for convenience and easiness. Most of people think about usability whereas they ignore process and method. Several new created-objects touch upon the deep thinking of energy will be selected to show at 100 Tonson Gallery from Dec 16, 2010 – Jan 23, 2011.
The opening reception will be on Thursday December 16, 2010 at 7 pm.
